A Yurok, Hupa, Karuk and Navajo woman raised in Hoopa, CA on the Hoopa Indian Reservation. She is a basket weaver and teaches gathering practices and weaving to several tribes within the Northern California region. Rosie assisted with the basket collection at College of the Redwoods in Eureka, CA where she gained further knowledge.
